There’s only a couple of days left until I run my 25th half marathon along Galway Bay. There is a group of 850 of us running and walking to raise money for the Manuela Riedo Foundation.

Training has been going fairly well.

I know that once I collect my race number on Friday evening and get down to the start line at Claddagh Hall on Saturday morning I’ll be in race mode.

I just want to enjoy the race as much as I can.  I’m sure it will be an amazing day on Salthill Prom.

There are plenty of races coming up over the next couple of weeks.

The medal for the croi night run on Friday 13th looks really nice. Unfortunately I will be away.

There are races in moylough and corofin also.

Last Thursday and Friday I appeared in newspaper articles in The Galway Advertiser and The City Tribune alongside the group that broke a world record last July. It was all part of Damian Browne’s fundraising as he prepares to row solo across the  Atlantic Ocean in 70 days.

I will be holding a “Proper Running Technique” workshop on Saturday November 11th in the Sportsdome behind Salerno school in Salthill.

If you want to run more effectively, learn to prevent injury and want to use less energy while getting better results then this two hour workshop is for you.
